You see, everybody knows that if you’re in an accident at high speeds, a lot of impact, you have symptoms right away, you go in and receive care. But actually, it’s the car accidents where you have lower speeds with lower impact and no symptoms that cause the most damage and there’s one reason for that, neglect.
You see, at a low impact of even eight miles per hour, it can cause up to 11 G’s of force in your spine, which can result in trauma, which is known as whiplash. Whiplash takes anywhere from four to 10 G’s and an auto accident at eight miles per hour or greater will cause over 11 G’s of force, resulting in that whiplash.
So usually, you don’t feel those symptoms right away and eventually over time, it can cause something known as spinal decay or degeneration. Over time, that leads to bigger problems. The result with issues with the bone, the ligaments, and then even the nerves.

And so at our office, it’s really important when people come in, symptoms or not, that we take an x-ray after that accident and see exactly how everything’s moving in your spine. Because, you see, your function is gonna drive your health. And so when we look at the function of that spine, we wanna see that everything’s moving properly.
After an accident, you get hit really hard here and you have that whiplash occur. It changes what’s known as your internal access of rotation. That’s how each joint is moving, turning, and functioning. So when that function is changed, that internal access rotation is off.
Now, your body starts functioning improperly or malfunction and it results with that decay. It leads to more degeneration and then bigger symptoms down the road.
